A Masterpiece of Engineering
Beautiful, fully restored Swiss runabout, complete with a road-legal trailer, cockpit cover, bimini top, full boat cover and sun deck.
The upholstery has been completely renewed, faithfully based on the original, by De Stoffeur in Leeuwarden, a specialist in the upholstery of classic cars. An impressive piece of craftsmanship, especially considering that virtually everything had to be dismantled for the job, including the instrument panel.
The engine is a 1962 Chevy 327 V8 (Chevrolet Corvette), producing 230 HP. It has been partially rebuilt and runs beautifully, maintaining 3 bar oil pressure at idle with a cold engine.
In short, this is a fully documented classic, with comprehensive records available, including the original purchase invoice, boat and engine numbers, and much more. The entire history has been documented in photographs, from its original construction by Faul AG shipyard in Horgen, Switzerland, through to the restoration, renovation and mechanical overhaul carried out in Leeuwarden.
I previously offered the boat for sale at an asking price of €49,500. Following consultation with experts, I have since increased the asking price to €59,500. Nevertheless, I remain open to realistic offers.
A stylish and truly eye-catching classic!
The boat was launched again in April 2026 and can currently be viewed in its boathouse in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands.
Comparable in style and character to Riva, Boesch, Chris-Craft and Hacker-Craft.
